Restrictions: grading, bridge construction is listed at I-90 from 2 miles east of Wasta-Exit 98 to 4.50 miles west of Wall Exit 109, according to the South Dakota Department of Transportation's traveller-information feed.
The feed gives the route as I-90, the reference milepost as 103.327 and the affected direction as Both Directions.
The feed publishes a listed start of March 2, 2026, 5 a.m. MST / 6 a.m. CST and no listed end — the feed publishes none for this record, which is how it represents work scheduled until further notice. Each is one instant shown in both of South Dakota's zones — Mountain first, Central second; they are the same moment. The feed names a route and not a zone, so 605Buzz does not pick one for you.
Whether this work is currently underway is not stated in this text: it depends on the time you are reading, and the department is the authority.
The feed publishes coordinates of 44.06928008, -102.38809007 for this record. Those are the department's own figures, reproduced as published; 605Buzz does not geocode.
The department's own description of the work, reproduced without changes as published in the feed:
Restrictions include: width limit 12 ft until further notice. The eastbound bridge over Bull Creek will be replaced. Traffic will be routed through the project in a two-way configuration in the westbound lanes for approximately three miles. The speed limit will be reduced on I-90 within the project limits from 80 mph to 65 mph, 24 hours a day. The speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph when workers are present in the adjacent lanes.
