Road work: paving is listed at SD-25 from Junction South Dakota 20 to 4 miles north of Junction South Dakota 20, according to the South Dakota Department of Transportation's traveller-information feed.
The feed gives the route as SD-25, the reference milepost as 130.817 and the affected direction as Both Directions.
The feed publishes a listed start of Sept. 7, 2026, 11:04 p.m. MDT / Sept. 8, 2026, 12:04 a.m. CDT and a listed end of Nov. 13, 2026, 10:54 a.m. MST / 11:54 a.m. CST. Each is one instant shown in both of South Dakota's zones — Mountain first, Central second; they are the same moment. The feed names a route and not a zone, so 605Buzz does not pick one for you.
Whether this work is currently underway is not stated in this text: it depends on the time you are reading, and the department is the authority.
The feed publishes coordinates of 45.09683642, -97.53494126 for this record. Those are the department's own figures, reproduced as published; 605Buzz does not geocode.
The department's own description of the work, reproduced without changes as published in the feed:
The following road construction project is in progress: paving with delays 15 minutes, flaggers, pilot car, and speed limit 55 mph until 11:54 AM CST Friday, November 13, 2026. SD 25 has an interim asphalt surface treatment. Motorists should be alert for rough road conditions on the temporary surfacing. The Speed Limit will be 55 mph and No Overweight Loads will be allowed until the permanent asphalt surfacing is completed. Traffic will be controlled with flaggers and pilot car.
That paragraph is the department's wording at the time this record was last read, including any dates or restrictions inside it.
