The following road construction project is in progress: ROAD CLOSED, gravel surface, and paving with local traffic until further notice. The grading of SD Highway 46 from Beresford to the Iowa line is complete. The final surfacing project for this stretch has started. For this project, the roadway will be closed to thru traffic and thru traffic will be detoured on I29 and Lincoln County Roads 152 and 143. The width restriction on the detour route will be 12' wide. The overwidth detour route is on I29 and SD Highway 48.
